I'm currently at the restaurant writing this review. As a chef myself, I'm always a bit concerned about finding food that lives up to my own standards. However, this place has surpassed my expectations! The jerk chicken was so delicious that it almost had me wanting to celebrate with a happy dance. The young man who took my order was fantastic—he greeted me with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed. Knowing that he is the owner’s nephew only deepened my appreciation for this place. I really value family-run businesses, and this one is spot on. Please go and show this restaurant some love!
I should have taken the reviews into account because it was clear that the staff lacks basic customer service skills. When I asked the man a simple question, he responded with cursing. I decided it wasn’t worth my money. It's truly disappointing that some people behave this way; it makes you wonder who raised them. They clearly have no manners and are a poor representation of the country. Service rating: 1.

I have been coming to Love Bird’s since they opened. Absolutely my favorite place. Not only the food is Amazing but it’s a family. They know my name how I love my food when I order. I am well taken care of. Whether I come in person to eat there picked my order or have my order delivered. It’s always the best! The staff is amazing and I feel like an extension of the family

I have ate at this place several times however the food i purchased today which was oxtails, cabbage, rice and peas with plantain was so bland i had to add my own spices. I’m not sure if they have a different cook or what but it was horrible and i will not return.
Food was terrible and not even edible. If you ever been to Jamaica or had authentic Jamaican food you know this is not it. Yams look like carrots and taste out of the can. J chicken was not jerked at all and covered in salty sauce. Will never order here again.
THE OXTAILS NEVER FAIL TO IMPRESS!!! The portions are generous, and the sides are delicious. If you haven't had them yet, you're missing out. You'll thank me later! Food: 5/5
This place is real good…i searched around for the best Jamaican food and found this hidden gem. The people there original Jamaican and super nice! I’ll be back for sure!!

Very good food here, a bit of a hidden gem. The service was great and I enjoyed talking with the ladies preparing and serving the food. Will definitely be back.
This spot had become a regular of mine and I d to try the j salmon for the first time and it was the best decision.
