As an aficionado who has enjoyed high tea all over the world, I was really disappointed in Lovey's Tea Shoppe. It wasn't just one thing. I didn't like that I had to pay in advance. The price for afternoon tea with tip is $70 USD, so I was expecting a small amount of fabulous. I will say my Darjeeling tea was delicious. What I really didn't like was that they serve your lunch one thing at a time. For many years when I would visit I never had thechance to stop by. I finally had the chance and I was not disappointed. Check their website if you want to reserve a tea timefor a larger party. This charming little spot offers delicious food and tea. Unfortunately, they only serve beverages in to-go cups since COVID, which diminishes the experience of enjoying tea out. The gift shop area is adorable, and the cozy atmosphere adds to the appeal. Inside, there are just a few tables, and while there is patio seating, it might not be very enjoyable due to the noise from the nearby highway. The restroom is well-maintained and fully stocked, but it’s located outside at the back of the building, so be prepared for a chilly seat and damp toilet paper during winter.
If you like tea, you HAVE to go here. This place is so cute and one of the few places that actually has delicious tea. I could drink it all day and when I can, I do. It is one of my favorite things to do around the holiday. It is a little expensive but it is totally worth the EXPERIENCE. Everyone should check out this place. I do not live as close to it anymore so I order the online and go when I visit. I am trying to think of another place that has such good quality tea and scones and I am coming up blank. Perfect place to grab a to go tea to keep you warm for an overcast or chilly beach walk. When we do to go from here there?s often a little bit of a wait. Enjoy the shop?s decors while you wait. Enjoyable for high tea too. It?s a cute tea shop on thecoast. Fun eclectic vibes and delightful scones and petit fours. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful during the teaselection. I always get a fruit flavored tea of some kind. I have heard from others that chamomile here is good.
If you want to have a quick afternoon tea bite, this is the place! The sandwiches and tea were delicious. One update- they no longer have their high tea menu, only their basic menu. Their tea selection is exactly the same. It's a very quaint space with limited seating so arrive early! We were so lucky to also be able to check out several local small businesses that were hosted right outside the shoppe. I ate everything before I even remembered to take a picture
OMG..I'm not even a big tea fan, but this place is a-maz-ing! Very friendly, helpful owner with so much good stuff in her uniquely designed shop. Indoor and outdoor seating, even offers crumpets and scones and tea is served on trays, just like aproper tea time should be
Cute little tea shop great tea, sandwiches, and scones! I love that it’s more casual (and less expensive! than afternoon tea in the city. Seating inside is a bit limited for drop ins but there are lots of outdoor tables.

I've been here a few times and always had a great experience! The scones are to die for! The sandwiches are so good too! The owner is a really nice lady and she has created a wonderful friendly environment!
