Visiting Jasper for the first time, and had read great reviews about the Low Gap Cafe so my husband and I stopped in for dinner tonight. We were promptly greeted by a female host/server at the door, and were seated at a table on the left side of the restaurant. We perused the menus we were given when we were seated. We both decided on what to order and were patiently waiting for a server to come take our order when we noticed that the servers had their hands full working hard and working quickly to take care of a nearly full restaurant. We visited Low Gap Cafe for dinner during a stay at Buffalo Outdoor Center. The food was great and they have a nice variety. They even have several vegetarian options. Our table had spinach artichoke dip, cheddar biscuits, chicken carbonara, lamb, steak and a chicken and rice dish. We also ended the meal with the mascarpone cake; which was absolutely delightful. All the food was wonderful. The portions were very generous. One note this is the same Low Gap Cafe as the original spot just a new location. The old location still has a sign, so we’re a bit confused, but very glad we found it! The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Two tips 1. You’re in a dry county, so...
The chef here, Mr. Nick Bottini is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We ate here over the weekend for my boyfriend's birthday. Mr. Bottini came out to our table and talked with us for a few minutes while we started on our fabulous dinne, which consisted of steak, chicken, and the most perfectly cooked scallops I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Later on, we were contemplating on what we wanted for desert. Mr. Bottini, having made the decision for us, arrived at our table for a second time with the most beautiful Amaretto Cheesecake I've ever seen, along with two forks, on the house. We actually ended up eating here twice in the same day for lunch and dinner, and it is BY FAR some of the best food...
Bad food, bad prices, bad attitude from the server. We had heard good things but the food was pretty disappointing. The soup and alfredo both tasted like white pepper gravy. All you could taste was pepper. The prices were very high for Arkansas. The server was very rude unwelcoming. Will not return.

Likely the best food in town (aside from Jasper Pizza co. ; we had great food and service! The chicken parm was delicious and had veggies- delicious! The service was also great! The atmosphere is fine, I liked that the tables were spaced out. Will be back when we are in Jasper!
1st time here…family owned and operated (or server was the chefs granddaughter)… good salad…our meals were good…nice atmosphere..it’s a new location…wishing them success…we will be back
Excellent prime rib and mashed potatoes. The biscuits are really good. Got our desserts to go and are too full to eat them just yet.
Pretty nice place. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. I had the brisket tacos and they were good.

Honestly lunch was just ok. I have heard that dinner is better. Service was great.
This is one of the top 3 or 4 restaurants I've ever been to, and I'm old!
