it was a cool Wednesday night and the place was already alive and kicking in service was prompt and friendly. we were assigned a beautiful table with a lounge seat on the wall, and immediately given odours for nibbles. the entrees were rinderskewer, the pork bells baos and cork choi bao. all were small portions. the spits have a really burned grilled taste that was great. the buns were a little expensive, but also saw and tasted.The bark sung choi bao was too easy from a fusion. it was sad, only sawed chop meat on the back of a piece salat. it lacked color and presentation. My cousin booked us a table here and we arrived a little later than her friend who was meeting us, who was already sitting at the table. A Highchair was promptly brought over for my son. The service was quick and drinks arrived shortly after...being ordered. We ordered a bunch of things to share. The food here was awesome, delicious, full of flavour. My son tried everything and also liked it. The rice and noodles were amongst the last items to be ordered which was weird. never before appealed to me on the street landscape, and the website was less inspiring, which gives no indication of what to expect except a short menu. I have booked late and other places were full so this was not the first choice. what to say. what a surprise. eating was fantastic days later and I still remember when my next visit will be. I don't give 5 stars easy, but these young people deserve it. eating was brilliant, atmosphere really comfortable, wein was excellent. I intend to make this a regular dinner. it was great. personal friendly, informed and on their game. 10/10.
It ranks as in the top 10 Chinese restaurants which the staff found humorous as they said it is definitely South East Asian. The service was efficient and friendly . The food is highly spiced and if you don't like spicy the best choices are...the dumplings and the salmon. The spicy eaters loved their selections as did those who had the salmon. the low key chow house is located at the main strip of oxford street in leederville and is a sister restaurant of the dainty dowager by mount lawley. the menu is to share, a mix of small, medium and large plates. we had an early booking, which means that we had the table for hours, which is the aftermath of the table time, that the staff tends, their ordering through.
we visited low key chow house for a Saturday lunch, was not too busy and service was fast. they enjoyed the salted fruits with sardels and found it difficult to make a selection from their very appealing menu. we went for the smoked salmon fried...rice and the kway teow nudels, both very tastefully dishes with a spicy hit, but not too much.
we visited with a group of friends for an evening meal in the middle of the week and were delighted by the beautiful facility, the wonderful service and the delicious food. will soon become a jubilee. thank you!

Everything was delicious! We ordered the 5 for $35pp and every bite was scrumptious! The Beef Rendang also wonderful. AS were the drinks and the other items we ordered.
