thanks to this little pub, a hidden gem on the fish kai. today called after the Christmas market and had the best Sunday dinner. veg boiled for perfection and a huge part of the right bratkartoffeln together with a humble light and fluffy yorkshire. incredible value for money. warm reception, literally with the kohlenfeuer, while the snow burst out. best pub in the opposite by far.
Were in tynemouth for the weekend and happened on this fantastic little pub after a stroll along the fish Quay. What a find. Fab beer, fab selection of rums, vodka and gins not to mention the fantastic pies made on the premises. All the staff, owners and customers were super friendly. We will definitely be back for another all day session. Lyndsay was lovely and helpful too xx
I am a big fan of this place! the food, the warm welcome is not to be welcomed! Today I have introduced my nephew and his fiance from below into the pub! her words were the best Sunday dinner we ever had and we would be happy to make a 5-hour drive for another! high praise in the did, but only as expected they react. many thanks to chefs and staff x
Fantastic! Been in a few times and always enjoyed it every time but today we popped in for a drink and the staff informed us of beef baguette and chips on the bar for free. We tasted and we loved, we will be back for food. Great place. Keep it up Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Love this proper boozer. There aren't so many left! But this has a great pint PLUS the best pies around! The pub is very old but they've updated enough to be very comfortable with a great atmosphere. Thanks for everything!
Delicious Sunday Lunch, excellent service, can’t fault the place. I had the corned beef pie with roasties and veg and it was scrumptious! Well done for such loveliness on a boiling hot busy summers day. Excellent!!
love this pub . the personal is always friendly and efficient. they also serve the best cakes, chips and muddy heirs, which they have ever had for a very reasonable price! I would recommend

called for a pint, ended with the best cable I have ever tasted in a pub, roaring charcoal fire and top knot personnel. highly recommended
