Used to spend half my time in Perth, and always missed a good coffee and a good breakfast.Low Down has both - well, just toasties, but they're good. The coffee was very good. Perhaps slightly overrated judging by the ever present queue out the door, but for Perth they're clearly a leader. And very, very popular.Staff friendly and efficient, even managing to find me by name from the hundreds coming and going. The space is a bit modern industrial rather than cosy, but it's mainly a grab and go for the 'new smoko' business professional crowd. I'll be back.
Do the smell o coffee brought me close. The two slick looking machines got me in. And the $3.50 regular with single or double shot (no extra charge for the double) sealed the deal. Great creme. Smooth taste. Will I be back? Every time I am in Perth!Oh yea. About the friendly staff. They are!
Whenever I am in Perth I pass by this coffee bar for my daily long black. From time to time I treat myself on what I consider to be one of the best chocolate brownies around. Just try it! And yes the staff is super friendly and laid back. Cool place!

I like that they remember me, with a ton of people waiting in line. The coffee is delicious, a bit smooth but still with enough bite. Stands out in a city of cafes. Try the iced coffee for hot day refresher.
I initially came for the coffee, but I ended up staying for the outstanding service and ambiance. This cafe is truly top-notch, with incredible and welcoming staff. Giving them 5 stars is an understatement.
I actually made a detour to get here to see what all the fuss was about. Great coffee and great service at a very reasonable price for a city coffee
