We have been To Luan 's a few times, and, in fact, recommended it to several people. This past visit though, they missed the mark. Seriously, we are only looking for good quality food, cooked and presented well and enjoyed in a nice environment. This is NOT an inexpensive restaurant, so I truly expect a certain level of quality which is better than Meh . I am going to concentrate on the minutiae: 1. If you are going to go to the trouble of putting tea lights in candle holders on a table, please light the candles in the evening. 2. All but one hole on the salt shaker was clogged, and its exterior was very dirty. 3. When asked for a description of a menu item, the server stated one thing, repe...
We arrived at the restaurant ahead of our reservation time but were still promptly seated at our table. The service was impressive, especially considering that our waitress, who is the owner’s wife, was working by herself yet managed to attend to all the guests. The Greek salad was generous in portion, although the lettuce could have been chopped into slightly smaller pieces for easier eating.
I took my wife to luan for our 24th year. that is the second time we sang at luan’s. eating is wonderful and fresh. the wine selection is small, but there are some wonderful wines. I had the most praised shrimp linguine, my wife had the ribeye prawns special. luan’s is our new favourite restaurant!
I have dined here twice now and both times were excellent. Chef Luan is an incredible chef and the dishes he puts together are exquisite. Great selection of seafood items. My Salmon was cooked just right. This was our first time here. Looks like the fish and chips are a big seller as well.
We have visited several times, and apart from one occasion, we've always ordered the seafood platter special for two. It's absolutely fantastic!
