Great food with lots of taste, great service and welcoming Mom Pop setting. I'm a travel sister from LA and I just have a sandwich in PA! Fat Daddy hit it out of the park. Sandwich was great, fresh bread as he baked it himself, and completely filled with taste. I also ordered crabcakes to see if they would compare something with what we had at home. They were delicious and stood on their own... mostly different from Louisiana's but brilliantly none of the less! 100% in my book. Very recommended.
OMG! I ordered a cheese steak with mustard, ketchup and sweet peppers and it was exactly that. It was great. The bread was really good and soft. The guy that made the sandwich was great as well the woman who took my order. Lovely people making tasty food. That's an excellent combination. They close at 4 PM so get there early around lunch time. They've been there for a while. It's a wonder the people that work there ain't fat.But you can get fat eating there. Compliment to the great food.
It's easy to overlook this place, but it's truly a gem. One of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. The hoagie roll was wonderfully soft, perfectly balancing the tender steak, onions, hot peppers, and a few other ingredients (not too overloaded). It’s simple yet delicious. Ideal for enjoying from the hood of your car while stuck in traffic. The service was excellent as well. This just goes to show that local, independent spots are truly special.
This experience was incredible. I can't believe I waited so long to visit this restaurant. The food is served hot and is absolutely delicious. I noticed some reviews mentioning long wait times for their meals, but that’s just part of the experience when they prepare your food fresh and right in front of you. I had a meal from there on February 10, 2022, when my boss treated everyone to lunch. I must say, there's something about free food that makes it taste so much better; it truly enhances the experience when you don't have to pay for it.
This is a place that I've passed a few dozen times over the years and was never able to stop in. I got lucky and stopped in for a sandwich, which was good but pricey. I wish I had something to drink to go with it for the price.
