I have used Lucila Cakes for Birthdays and family gatherings for years and the cakes are always awesome! Not only do they look amazing, they taste great too! I recently got married and Lucila Cakes made us a perfect cake. As everyone knows, weddings are stressful, but the customer service and design team at Lucila Cakes made it such smooth and easy process. Everyone at the wedding (including my wife) couldn't have been happier with the cake. The Lucila Cakes family went above and beyond to make this a special day for my wife and I. I had an amazing experience at Lucila Cakes! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They worked with my budget, answered all my questions, and customized my cakes exactly as I wanted. And the best part? The cakes were absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. We ordered the traditional vanilla rum cake and the coconut with dulce de lychee (which was a treat!). The designers here are true artists, and this small business truly deserves support. It’s painful to admit that the glorious days of Miami's best cake boutique, Lucila's, have undoubtedly faded since the original owners left. While some of the magic has diminished, the cake designs and textures still remain. I really wish Triny was still there; she truly understood what made Lucila's so special during its heyday. Many of the newcomers to Miami have no idea what the best cake used to be like here. I encourage you to give it a try and experience the legacy for yourself. Don’t fix what isn’t broken!

I used to enjoy cakes from Lucila, but my last experience was disappointing. I ordered a custom red velvet cake and received a rum cake instead. I didn't eat it and informed the owner or whoever manages the Instagram account about the mistake. They assured me they would resolve the issue and issue a refund, but I never received it, and each day brought a new excuse. Because of this, I won't be ordering from them again.
Ordered a delicious lemon cake for my daughters first birthday. It was great, but docking a star for poor communication. There's no emailing, you're asked to talk through whatsapp and Instagram. One person told me I could sample the cake combo for free while another wanted to charge me $35 for a small cake to taste.
**Attention, Ladies!** Don’t lose hope! We ordered a wedding cake from this place, never received it, and they refuse to provide a refund. It’s a complete scam. The operation is run by a group of incompetents, including Alejandro Perez. Avoid sending him any money!
I always choose this bakery because they do an amazing job. They can handle any design I request, and the cakes taste delicious. My entire family loves them! Lucila’s bakery has been a part of all my celebrations, and I highly recommend them!
