I don't have much experience with halal food to compare it to, but I ordered a combo over rice and added all the sauces except for BBQ (which seems unusual for this type of cuisine). I also got a pita and a lamb gyro to go with it. I intended to take a picture of the combo, but someone dug in before I had the chance. It was really delicious, though, and I would definitely come back. The person running the place seems to have a bit of a language barrier, but it didn't affect his ability to take my order at all.
This might be the best rice combo I've ever had. I was initially a bit hesitant because the meat looked a bit redder than I'm used to, but after that first bite, I was blown away! Be sure to try it with the white sauce, BBQ sauce, and a touch of the hot and green sauce (I think the green sauce is cilantro-based, and I'd never seen it before). I would absolutely return if I'm in the area. The food is fantastic, and the owner is extremely friendly!

I like that the meat was not greasy. What is great is that you can order ahead on Grubhub. A lot of halal restaurants only allow you to have food deliver not picked up. This is a great option that you can order ahead to pick up.

Update 12-26-19 We now live in PA but come back to Elmont often to see my mom daughter. We NEVER Leave NY without stopping here to buy their Lamb Gyro Chicken Rice platter, both with the White Sauce. BEST FOOD from a cart I've ever eaten!!! Nice owner too when you call in your food ahead of time, it WILL be ready fresh when you get there!!!
I received a chicken portion that was half the size compared to what I've been served at other Popeyes locations. It was overcooked, dry, and very stringy. I decided to take it out, so I couldn't return it. I won't be buying anything from there again. Honestly, one star is too generous for this restaurant. - Fred
This place is a food truck. Not sure it will be there at all time. It was at near the walmart parking lot. I had a lamb gyro and was filled with generous size of real fresh lamb. They make their own sauce and price was so cheap. Cash Only!
