I was really impressed by how clean and affordable this deli is. I was excited to grab a sandwich, which even came with a complimentary small bag of chips. The staff were friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service. However, when it came to the sandwich, I ordered a cheesesteak and told the employee I didn't want mayo but was fine with the usual toppings. When I opened my cheesesteak, I found it had toppings like pickles, hot peppers, and raw onions. Clearly, I made some mistakes in communication; I should have been more specific about the toppings with the sandwich maker. I was also disappointed to find that the cheese was just sliced American cheese, and it seemed like it was zappe...
I just saw the guy making sandwiches—the one wearing the Powerball hat and a ponytail. He pulled his mask down, spat, and then continued making a sandwich as if nothing was wrong. What on earth?! I couldn't believe it, so I just walked out and will never order from here again. It was absolutely disgusting. This happened at 12:30 during lunch. Just really unappetizing!
The restaurant is very clean, and the food is excellent. The lunch meats, cheese, and sandwiches are all great in taste and reasonably priced. The owners and staff are wonderful and incredibly helpful.
I've only tried the Crispy Fried Onion Rings at this deli twice. Next time, I plan to order a Corned Beef sandwich with coleslaw on it... I definitely will!
