On more than one occassion we have ordered from this restaurant. The pizzas are a bit more expensive and smaller than what you would get for the size and price if you ordered from two guys pizza however still phenomenal flavor I must say and I don't eat pizza often as I am slightly lactose intolerant. Amazing chicken dishes, their souvlaki I think is to die for and if you like calamari order the appitizer size or get two of the appitizer sizes they are huge. Our fave as of late though is the pasta salad. Chicken pasta salad for my fiancee I can't believe he actually said he would rather order that than pizza any day and for myself a seafood pasta salad and for a extra $2.50 I get extra seafo...
The name says it all at this retro Lethbridge institution - pizza, pasta, hot entrees and steak, so not a truly Italian restaurant. The lunch menu has few entrees but there is a veal cutlet (12.85) - a modest portion with only a dab of veg, but lots of thick-cut fries, so OK for the price. The excellent apple crisp, hot from the oven with ice cream, is 5.25. The evening menu has more entrees, including halibut (26.70), very lightly breaded and served with salad, veg, garlic toast and one side. The halibut was nice but the rice was dry. It's a busy place, but the friendly, helpful staff will fit you in somewhere. There are a few parking spaces in the rear.
Luigi's has a great menu with alot of variety. The menu is Italian based but has other great items and lunch specials. Our experiences have been at lunch only, always busy with ample sitting available. The food has never disappointed us and the service always gets us in and out quickly. We are not from Lethbridge but always feel welcome along with all the locals. Street Parking can be very busy at noon but the restaurant has additional parking at the back in which there's usually room. I've had their pizza, good crust and lots of toppings, and some italian dishes that are alway hot, well spiced and tasty.
I moved from Lethbridge and was home for a visit. My family and I met my sisters and my parents at the Mayor Magrath location for lunch. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, wasn't the same as we've had before. It wasn't bad just not the same and seemed very plain. I ordered a pizza for myself which again wasn't bad just not the same as the usual pizza I've had before. The food overall was okay but wouldn't say outstanding. My wife and I mentioned we will try the 13 Street location next time in the hopes it's better than the South restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had a company dinner here. The roast beef was to die for. It was so tender; however the other food was in the warmers for over an hour and a half before the roast finally came out and we were all dying of hunger! Dessert squares also very good, but came out so long after the meal most people thought we weren't getting any!
With my aunt in the hospital and her desire to try something different...I ordered her baked Spaghetti and Meatballs and had it delivered. My Aunt was very please please!!! I ordered the steak with spaghetti on 1 occasion and on another occasion I ordered the same thing with a ceased salad. I have tried many dishes from here and this is my favourite. But don't let that stop you from ordering anything else from the menu. They have a fantastic selection.
My chicken and wife's steak were very good, tasty, cooked well and presented well. The children's meals were tasteless, non exciting and overpriced. Way too much pasta; cut it in half and maybe add kid friendly veggies, with the main meal, and ice cream for dessert. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Greatest family restaurant in town! Been up and running since 1974! Wow. Choose the vast varieties of pizzas! And the Baked Lasagna is one of the favorites as well. Enjoy! Eat well!
