My girlfriend and I were looking for a restaurant that was close to our hotel, which was just adjacent to Lille Europe station, and decided to visit L'Ultimo based on positive reviews. My initial impression was that the decor was very modern and looked smart. The atmosphere was also very relaxing.The waiters spoke limited English, but were very friendly and helped wherever possible. The menus were only in French, but Google Translate helped here. We both had pizzas, which appeared to be their specialty, and both found them very tasty. I had the raspberry and pistachio tiramisu for desert, which was amazing.The bill for two pizzas, two desserts, two glasses of wine and two coffees came to €55...
Colleagues recommended we venture to L'Ultimo for a pizza as they billed it as 'The Best Pizza in Lille'... It's fair to say as a culinary aficionado that Pizza in France was going completely against the grain...Lo and behold, the Pizza Nanette was miles beyond the Pizza I had in Milano the week before...The organic vins blanc was an added bonus...If you do have the chance to visit, you can rest assured that you are in for a treat and say 'Bonjour' to the lovely owner and whatever you do... don't mention you are from the US or you will be subjected to a few rounds of US culinary bashing...Superb menu / service / ambience...!
Coming between colleagues, we chose varied dishes and we had a good time. The dishes are tasteful, beautifully presented, typical of Italy or really original. Notably fish dishes or seafood, uncommon in an Italian restaurant. The only flat: we would have enjoyed a more smiling service from one of the waitresses...

The meal is very good whether the pizza or the rest the plas its good and the employees are super nice and pleasant for the atmosphere its cold and sad there are possible improvements but I recommend you to eat
Small selection if great food with great service, what can be wrong with this. The tuna pizza (Lisa) reminded me of Venize's tuna pizza, lot of capers, tuna and anchovies, as I like it.
Nice discovery! I enjoyed Caserecce alla norcina, delicious and hearty. Good gourmet coffee, attentive service.
Much more than a simple pizzeria, an excellent friendly and high quality restaurant.
