4/11/2020 Updated Review: Wanted to give them another chance and this visit was worse than the last. The door sign said they open at 8 am so when we were trying to go in, the guy just kept looking at us. He let us in after 5 minutes and said, we weren 't supposed to be let in until 10am because that is when they open. So then we 're wondering why does the sign then says 8? And he ignored us. Upon entering this tiny place, there were 3 lines marked with bright tape, I 'm guessing for the social distancing aspect but they were only probably 3 ft apart. After waiting patiently at Luming's Corp, a staff member finally approached me, but their attitude was quite unfriendly. They told me I needed to pay an extra dollar for the beef stew, yet only served me vegetables. I explained that I didn’t mind paying extra, but if I was paying more, I expected the correct dish. They then suggested ordering the beef stew on the side for another dollar, without any further explanation.

Luming's Corp serves delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine! Their chicken and pork BBQ, pancit, vegetable lumpia, and turon were all outstanding. Since we were visiting from out of town, we couldn't try everything on the menu, but we can only assume the other dishes are just as fantastic. After trying several Filipino restaurants nearby, which leaned more toward fusion, Luming's clearly stands out as our top choice. The service was excellent too—the young Filipino staff working on Sunday were cheerful, attentive, and efficient. Despite a steady flow of customers, they maintained great hospitality throughout. We will definitely return the next time we’re in the DC area.
I ordered catered pancit and lumpia for my party. The pancit was delicious and definitely deserving of a higher rating. However, the 100 lumpia I received were severely burned and unusually small—some of the tiniest I've ever seen. They were so miniature that I had to discard them, as I couldn’t serve them to my guests. Unfortunately, I was busy hosting and managing other aspects of the party, so I didn’t get a chance to take photos as I should have. I’m genuinely disappointed, as both my guests and I were really looking forward to the lumpia.

The food was incredibly delicious. My only complaints are that my chicken pancit had just two small pieces of chicken, and while the adobo was very flavorful, it contained more bones than meat. Also, they only offer lumpia in small and large sizes—the small order comes with 21 pieces, which is quite a lot for one person. It would be great if they offered smaller portions or sold them by the piece. Despite these minor issues, I will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommended!
The BEST Filipino food I've had in years!! If you don't know what the food is, just ask. My go to is always adobo and pork steak with onions.. The chicken skewers are also on point, but I always reheat them when I get home for late night snack Their prices are still great even after the increase. Portions always great. Make sure you have them add the stew sauces in your rice!!!
Luming’s serves traditional Filipino food, down-to-earth home cooking, nothing fancy. Here you’ll find the classics like pancit, lumpia, dinuguan, among others. The place, with its bright yellow walls, even makes you feel like you’re in somebody’s home. A combo meal with 3 dishes and rice is $12.99, plus tax. They also sell sweets and snacks to take home.
Luming's Corp is always busy but never fails to be accommodating. Compared to other places in Virginia, their food consistently stands out as delicious. The restaurant is small and quaint, nothing fancy, but their menu offers a good variety of dishes. I always order the pancit, meat skewers, and fried fish.
