That’s a trap for tourists! Still amazed that this place is still open! It is extremely expensive, pizzas from 25 euro, a 3dl ice tea 6 euro... Beside crazy prices, the food is not even good. It happened often to wait at least 30 -40...minutes just to order food. I went 3 times, and never again! The staff is rude and slow. the restaurant also advertise women’s nights with offensive flyers full of disrespectful and vulgar content. Even the local newpapers spoke about the outrageous way the portrait women. Plenty of lovely places in Locarno were to eat in a healthy, friendly ambiance with normal prices and good food.
we were there without reservation, have a table and have eaten well. parmesan risotto with fried fish is a must and the best I ever had. pizza was great, snuggle that I had better. the service was nice and punctual, but at the order...wine they did not ask if it is a glass or a bottle, so bring a bottle. I can recommend this place. it's pretty big and busy, so it's okay to wait a little longer. also: it is not cheap, but it is on the sea and in locarno so.
Had dinner, prices are quite reasonable for Locarno area. Seems to attract large local following. Food quite tasty and servings are large. Bar area had the views, the restaurant is at rear. Food prepared quickly. Service professional but not all that welcoming from some staff....Caters very well for gluten free requirements.
