The cafe is next to the tiny hotel of the same name but is used more frequently by citizens of the town. It's smart but not expensive and its menu carries typical French fare. When I was there (late afternoon) most of the customers were drinking coffee or beer. When I asked for a croque madame they were able to whip it up quickly. And it was delicious with crunchy cheese and yummy bechamel sauce. They have more complete meals too although typically French cuisine.
Just to have a drink for us. and well informed about the different options to drink a drink. On the other hand, the ambient temperature was just and we kept our coat (it was 21:30 and not hot out) a little musical atmosphere would be a plus. otherwise nice, pleasant setting and good quality of tasted wines.
