I can't recommend this place highly enough! My parents, my child, and I ended up here after being stuck due to a road closure. Don't let the classroom chairs fool you; the diner-style food is freshly prepared, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There are plenty of options to choose from, and the fish in the platters is incredibly fresh! And don't even get me started on the pies—there are two homemade pies that are worth the trip all on their own! This was a delightful surprise, and it's definitely a place to visit if you find yourself in that area of the province.
I had an amazing experience with the cheeseburger platter—it was fantastic! The clams and fries were just as delicious. The music added to the atmosphere perfectly. I highly recommend this place. The waitstaff was friendly, and the overall vibe was cozy and comfortable. The restaurant was clean, warm, and welcoming. It’s definitely a great choice for a meal!
This is the first sit down restaurant meal I had in almost a year! I chose a fish and clams combo plate. There was tonnes of food! I didn't make it through the fries. Everything was good. The clams were crispy but still tender, the fish was flaky and filling. The service was pleasant and fast and the place was full, but at reduced capacity. Will go again.
Incredible seafood. Five of us, Senior ladies, experienced a very tasty late lunch at this very ordinary looking cafe. Best haddock ever, mouthwatering clams and decent scallops. Had double bacon cheeseburgers and pizza for supper tonight. Absolutely amazing! Some of the best pizza I have ever had and they never disappoint with burgers. Prices are very reasonable and staff are wonderful. Had a terrible day and they completely turned it around.
The waitress was excellent! She managed a lot of customers effortlessly. The food was great and the portions were generous. We will definitely come back here. Thank you!
