I had a late lunch as i was craving a good seafood dish. Immediately upon entering the ambiance has an upbeat vibe and it is bright and airy. Most importantly there is no fishy smell when you enter.I got immediate seating at a high table in the bar and service was prompt. I ordered the tequila lime shrimp linguine and it was arguably one of the best shrimp pasta dishes i have ever had. I asked for medium spice and it came perfectly prepared in a tomato cream sauce. One pet peeve of mine is getting food served luke warm. This was piping hot from the get go and stayed hot to the last bite. The garlic toast was a nice texture element although i also devoured the hot sour dough bread and butter...
A seafood lovers dream! Nice variety and fresh seafood without breaking the bank. The menu evolves based on what ingredients they have. My favorites are the salt spring mussels and shrimp cocktail. The service is very polite from every team member. They make me feel like an important customer, which is very nice. It's also why my husband and I enjoy coming here very much. The ambiance is casual and the restaurant itself looks very fun with a sea theme. There's 2 sections, the sit down restaurant and the bar area. Bar area is first come first serve. The sit down area is where we can get on a waitlist to be seated. This place can get very crowded, especially Thursday to Sunday. Where it's crow...
The food was good. I had the Cioppino and our group has oyster and both were good. However the service was mediocre to terrible. Waiter with Santa Claus hat was not jovial or kind. We constantly have to ask for refill on our drinks (lemonade, amazing, Arnold Palmer, and ice tea). Additionally when he came to pick up the tray that the oysters were sitting on some of the water spill onto the table and our Santa Claus waiter didn’t even bother wiping it off. My friend and I had never been here before but we both loved it. He had the steak and I had the lobster tail and both were fantastic. The fish and chips I took home for my brother was also greatly enjoyed. Our server Kevin was friendly, attentive, and overall just above and beyond for a server. I came over on tuesday, had a great time there! my waitress Alyssa was the best! she was quick, nice, and overall had a good attitude. The food is great! was recommended the oysters and it was fantastic! 10/10 would come back here again!
Windy in the room, wait longer than announced, noisy, quality of food just okay for the price... Bad 1st experience. Don't recommend for people who are picky about atmosphere, quality of food and service for pricey meals.
Lunch time include large portioned appetizers and 1/2 salad. Perfect. I took my husband for his first time and loved it. Simply the best.
