Had SUCH a great meal here. We came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything.We started with the Golden Ossetra Caviar (Pomme Paillasson) Dry Aged Steak Tartare. Both were so delicious. I would’ve ordered 5 more of each!!The Chicken Liver Mousse was perfect for those who enjoy a sweet and salty kind of craving. I was impressed by the mousse, it was like a hazelnut fois gras kind of vibe. Definitely a unique take!For entrees we got the Parisian Gnocci Pork Milanese. I thought the gnocci had the perfect texture and was packed with flavor. The pork was also very tasty. The yuzu koshō was a nice touch. The crisp cook also made it extremely enjoyable in my opinion.The dessert was amazing too....
This charming little cozy restaurant was just what I needed! The fluke crudo was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor—definitely some of the best seafood I’ve ever tasted. I opted for the chef’s tasting menu, and I highly recommend starting with the mussels as the first course; they were magnificent. The duck was cooked to perfection as well. Tim, the mixologist, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable; I had the Café d'Abeille and the Isla del Encanto, both of which were amazing drinks. Corey, the head chef, really outdid himself tonight with the gnocchi—it was so fresh and made from scratch!
This place is overrated!They charge you 25 bucks per person to reserve a table and promise to refund you once you show up! I showed up and they did tell me your refund is being processed! 4 days after saying that to me no refund I have received.Menu also is so limited and you have the rule of 2 hours only and you have to leave the place or you risk being kicked out!I was celebrating my friend’s birthday and made a special request during the reservation to get specific cake! Unfortunately they didn’t call to say they can’t do it, and I had to know that while being there with my friend.So disappointed!
What a great brunch! An intersection of French and Mexican food, using high quality ingredients, all perfectly balanced, offering a limited but fulfilling menu. I got the baked eggs, which had the perfect harmony of eggs, tomato, spices, and chorizo; I found remarkable how the chorizo did not overtake the flavor of the plate. It came along with delicious, fresh dipping bread, the kind of bread that you only find at top boulangeries. The four-course tasting menu was exquisite. I especially enjoyed the first course and the desserts. However, the second course didn't quite meet my expectations. The final course was delicious as well (I love duck), but I was so full that I couldn't finish it. I left feeling incredibly stuffed. The service was friendly, but I wished it had been a bit more enthusiastic. I would have appreciated hearing more about the stories behind the dishes and the chef in general.
Lutece is hands down one of the best in DC. Been here for both dinner and brunch several times and I can swear nothing ever came out bad. Almost had everything of the menu and everything was exceptional in its own way. Drove 4+hours for this meal and will still do so. The bar experience was also wonderful, Megan the bar tend, gave an amazing service. Would def recommend and can’t wait to try chefs table in the future
On a positive note, the burger was excellent—I'd rate it a 4/5. It was different from what you might find at Lucky Buns, though not necessarily better, but definitely solid. The egg and chorizo dish also deserves a 4/5, though it felt like it was missing something. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and with a stomach ache.

I went alone to try the tasting menu, sitting at the bar. The staff was very friendly, and they have a good wine selection. Everything was so good especially, the duck breast, pickled mussels, focaccia, gnocchi and the Comte Strata.
