It is good to see that the cook was more and more courageous to try out the seasonal menu. This time there were no oysters available (from September to April, availability), but as seasonal specialities I tasted summer truffles Omelette and Gazpacho. The Omelette was delicious: light as a feather, with a generous part of the truffles and some cherry tomato inside. It was served with some salad on the top (letter mix with cherry tomato) and sad, although delicious, the salad (especially its delicious dressing) distracts my taste buds from the star of the show – the truffles... In my opinion, it would be best to serve the salad separately (or at least not on the omelet) with just one line of o...
This was a return visit to the restaurant. In any case, it was worth the effort. – As usual, I had the shrimp salad. – Every time I ordered it, the dressing was a little different, although the whole thing was delicious every time. This time I could feel the notes of lime and mango in it. – The shrimps were soft and juicy and the salad was fresh and crispy. – Well, it is possible to have the salad for your main course instead of a starter. – Then it could be better to have the double part of the shrimp in it... But this time the oysters I had for a starter were the star of the afternoon. – They were fresh and smell and taste the sea... Together with the glass Chablis they have made the perfe...
As usual, the salad with shrimps proved to be a double part of the shrimps for the main course) as delicious, and the oysters were without exception. With the set glass of chablis – a perfect game! This time I also tasted the Wienershnitzel. – I was really surprised how light and juicy it was. Even despite the crust that was also quite easy... Unfortunately, they did not mention in their opening hours that the “war chef” was open from 4 pm, which was a novelty. This meant that nothing except cold starters would be available up to 4 o'clock.
They`ve been keeping up their standard. – My favourite salad made of lettuce with shrimps turned out just as beautiful as always. What is more, in spite of the fact that it is a winery, the chef has also been offering the seasonal menu. – This time Jacob`s mussels. – They were served on fennel and orange salad, which made the dish a bit sweet and spicy at the same time. – As always , nice selection of wine available.
