I don’t LUV-IT anymore. Sadly. I used to recommend this place to everyone who comes to town, but I can’t say I was impressed this visit and it will likely be my last. $15 for my boyfriend and I to get two half-filled sundae cups (they were over $6 each, plus tax it came out to over $14 but under $15. I did not get my receipt. It’s good but sheesh. I was hesitant when I heard the price (which aren’t posted anywhere I looked all over the windows, I was surprised by the price when I ordered. Convinced myself to just get it and that it would be worth it cause it’s so good and the cup behind the register looked big for the price. Think again! Amazing shake. Nothing else was amazing. I tried to make some small talk with the gentlemen taking the order, 0 reaction Unfortunately, the location Is terrible. Want to or not, seeing strung out homeless walking around your car and around your family DOES affect a person's appetite and how they feel about the business. $9 for a large shake is fine with me since it is vegas. Something about this place has changed; it just isn't as good as it used to be. Honestly, Shake Shack is better, even though it has fewer flavor options. It’s located in nicer neighborhoods that aren’t overcrowded with homeless people, and they offer flexible payment methods. In contrast, Luv It is card-only and makes you use their dubious AliExpress card reader, which feels insecure and isn't a legitimate point-of-sale system.
Yes there are homeless people around the area but that’s really nothing new for the area. And they didn’t bother us. As for the custard, it was delicious! The Western sundae included a bite of nuts in every spoonful! My nephew who was in from out of state had a medium sized cone and we couldn’t believe the size! Used to be cash only, now card only. Bad customer service, confusing what flavors they have and the cashiers aren't much help. Used to be my favorite, won't come again. Unhinged ownership apparently needs to respond to every single review he doesn't like.
This is the best custard I've ever tasted! The customer service was excellent, and the location is quite convenient. Stop by; you won’t regret it! It's also just a short distance from the new Las Vegas sign.
