This is a nice Japanese bistro in downtown Lodi. We were greeted warmly when we went inside. They have a digital menu but have physical menu if requested. Unfortunately, the physical copies were a bit crumpled and stained, not really fitting for a nice bistro like this one. It's slightly noisy due to the background music. I went with my auntie. She loves their grilled hamachi collar. We both had the lunch bento special. We both had salmon shioyaki. It was okay, a little dry. My auntie had tempura; she liked it. I had sashimi; they gave me a slice of 5 different fish. They were very nice. The server checked up on us often and was very nice. We were sent off with a warm goodbye.

This place has over 500+ reviews. What more proof do you need? It's my husband and I's favorite restaurant. We only discovered it just last year and been back about 6 times already. We brought guests to try a few times and they all loved it just as much as we did. The service is always amazing and the entire staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in. Food is amazing. Everyone must try the seafood pan fried udon and the deep fried cheesecake with matcha ice cream!
My fiancée and I were passing through Lodi and chose to have lunch at Sushi Bistro. We're so happy we did! Sushi is our favorite cuisine, and this place certainly lived up to our expectations. My fiancée ordered a nigiri platter while I enjoyed a couple of specialty rolls, and everything was top-notch—service, presentation, and flavor were all excellent. I just wish we lived closer because we would definitely make this a regular spot!
Little hole in the wall! Busy place! But that means delicious sushi!!! They actually seated us at closing time on a Friday night which was so nice of them! Ambient was a little loud but that means a lot of customers, clean and a lot of seating. I can honestly say that I had my most favorite roll!!!
The food here is fantastic! The sesame chicken was incredibly tasty! However, the service and atmosphere leave a bit to be desired. The lunch bento box is somewhat pricey, but the flavors make it worth it. Definitely come for the food; just don't expect much else.

I have been wanting to eat here for years now... I'm so happy we were able to spend our date night here last night. The atmosphere was great and service was good and the food was awesome. I think I can say it is the best sushi I've ever eaten!! ?
