When we moved in across the street, I figured that a restaurant right next to an enormous high rise would probably just coast off convenience and churn out OK but basically uninteresting food. AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING STAFF Came here for a friend's birthday and had a pretty good experience. It was a set menu because of the number of people in our group. The appetizers were yummy but weren't a fan of the wedge salad because I don't like blue cheese, and they can't separate it from the dish, which was a bummer. The main course steak was delicious with a perfect medium rare for dessert it was apple pie and ice cream, which was a perfect match and great ending. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were super attentive. The only thing was that we waited quite a while for each dish of food, which made us a little annoyed because we were hungry.
Had a triple date with some friends here the other night and Charles made sure our experience was wonderful. Shoutout for talking about specials like they were a monologue. We shared oysters and poutine for the table. The oysters were fresh and the Poutine as expected was gooey and delicious. I had their sour mocktail, which gave me everything I wanted without a hangover. Mocktail game is strong. My boyfriend and I shared the Monkfish Bourguignon and the Foie Gras burger, both melted in your mouth, full of flavor and comfort. The food at M. Wells is an amazing experience, from the atmosphere to the staff to the incredible menu. I was uncertain about Duck in a pumpkin, but can confirm that it was absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was also on the spot, and I don't think I had a better chocolate mousse in my life. I recommend M. Wells for a nice evening and will definitely return to try the rest of the menu!
We loved this place! It has a cool, kind of artsy, casual atmosphere. Good music but quiet enough to really talk and enjoy your company. I got the smoked meat ravioli and my boyfriend got the duck. Both were amazing! Even the fries were good -my boyfriend said they were the best he's ever had. Portion sizes are just right. Save room for the coconut cake to finish!
Good staff and service. The atmosphere is relaxing and they had live music on a Thursday night. Food is good but wait time was definitely on the extended side all things considered. I ordered the duck which was satisfying but will return for the burger

Solid menu of hits that are always good like French onion soup, frog legs, etc. But the real fun tries to expand their new menu elements and always dessert options. Oysters are also great.
