Maybe I just came on a bad day but I ordered two gai yangs , came to pick it up and the place is super cute. Thought about giving this place a shot since there is not a lot of options in pittston, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed. Something was making the plates smell like dirty old socks/sweat it was horrible. Can?t tell if it was the seasonings or if it was coming from the papaya salad. We also waited 30 minutes like they asked and we arrived on time and the food was already cold. My husbands rice managed to be overcooked and undercooked at the same time. I?ve had Thai food before and the best place I?ve been too is In grand central market in Los Angeles Called Sticky Rice. Anyway...
Several restaurants have come and gone at this location, but this one is a keeper! We've dined here twice, and each experience has been outstanding. I tried the red curry and panang curry at a level 2 spiciness, and it definitely had a nice kick. Mama, who hails from Thailand, prepares authentic Thai dishes. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine, this is the place to visit.
I feel bad having put off trying MA Ma's, boy have I been missing out.After leaving my favorite place ever in Texas years ago, I have been longing for a genuine pad Thai and more. Other places in the area claim to make Thai food, but so far NONE come close to Ma Ma's.Try the pad Thai, try the duck, try the chicken satay, TRY IT ALL.Ma Ma, you've earned a new customer.
Everything exceeded our expectations. We had the Tom Kah, Pad Kee Mao, Panang Curry, and Papaya Salad. Not sure what the other reviewer is referencing with the dirty sock smell, we thought the fish sauce was on point and have found our new favorite Thai spot. The owner is unbelievably sweet and we will definitely be ordering again.

What a delightful little restaurant! It's takeout only, but when I mentioned to Ma Ma that we were on a road trip, she graciously invited us to sit at the counter and enjoy our meal there. The food was outstanding, and the customer service was fantastic!
I absolutely loved it! We stopped by to pick up some takeout, and everything was incredibly fresh with fantastic flavors. The Thai menu offers a great selection, and the shrimp are massive. I can't wait to go back!
Quiet place in a quiet street, you eat well, generous portions and spend little. Two portions of rice with pork, one with shrimps and a coke 190 bath. Good place
This is a take out only place. We ordered 5 entrees and all were sweet. Even the spicy version has sweetness to it which was unusual. The service was slow.

This place is (currently) take-out only. But the staff is very friendly and the food is just great. It's nice to see a really good Thai place in Pittston
