NJ doesn’t have as many Vietnamese cuisine compared to Brooklyn/NYC so I’m used to a different flavor. I can see how this place attracts other people in different aspects— service is great, neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the interior is inviting and comfortable. The menu is simple and easy to read. However, this spot serves mediocre Vietnamese cuisine relative to my experience with eating it in other ethnic neighborhoods in Vietnam. I ordered the pork over rice for takeout using Doordash. This was not a Vietnamese grilled pork chop over rice like I expected. I always order this dish at Vietnamese restaurants, but the pork was not grilled, not marinated, and extremely dry. I have made better versions at home using an online recipe. Just by looking at the picture, it's clear that the pork was not grilled. I would suggest avoiding the over rice dishes at this restaurant. The Pad Thai was not impressive; we have had better before. The portion size was large and we were able to split it between two people. The summer roll with chicken and the jalapeno dumplings were delicious. We would consider returning to try other menu items. The service was convenient for take-out and the overall meal was priced between $10-20 per person. The food was rated 4 out of 5, service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was given a rating of 4 out of 5.
Just ate here for the first time when looking for somewhere to eat while in NJ (from Ossining). The people at the establishment were nice and helpful. The food was great! Had the Pad Thai Noodles and Dumplings. I also had the Thai Iced Tea, which was really good too! Would recommend this place to anyone in the area! I ordered the beef Vietnamese rice noodles, but I was disappointed with the poor quality of the food given the price. The restaurant had a dining table, but it was busy, so we ended up eating at a nearby park. Service was average and the atmosphere was not great. It cost around $10-20 per person for lunch. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 2 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 1 out of 5.

I think the Pho at Ma Mi Eatery is the best in the area and I come from Rockland County. My family and I ordered here a couple of times during covid and the service was great. The portions are great for the price now a days. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
