This food at this restaurant is absolutely on another level. Everything was just on point. The star of the night for me was the White Fish, a fluke I believe, amazing with a delicious sauce. The Cornbread was to die for, so good we had to a second plate. Food is all around fantastic. Drinks were amazing and flavors paired well w b the food. Shout out to our server Rachel who was very attentive and help guide us thru dinner. Look forward to coming back for a new menu.
Dining at Mabel Gray is an incredible experience, a journey through a thousand flavours, pampered by a super friendly and close-knit team always ready to respond to the needs of every single customer. Such a restaurant could be successful anywhere in the world, incredible to find something of this level in Michigan in Detroit. As an Italian I can only recommend it A round of applause also to the barman Max for the excellent cocktail proposal during dinner.
I can’t say enough about our time at Mabel Gray. Or anything that hasn’t already been said, given the following they have, and deserve. From the service, to the food, to the presentation overall I honestly can’t imagine it being any better. The pacing of the tasting menu was perfect and we can’t wait to do it again.
We have visited several times, most recently for a birthday celebration. The tasting menu is always a highlight, the service is impeccable every time, and the food is consistently outstanding. Went here this year for our anniversary. The service is impeccable. Bar staff is very knowledgeable and talkative if you wish. We had a great view of the kitchen. Food was best I've had all year. Two dishes made me tear up. Cannot recommend this place enough to anyone!!
Mabel Grey has exacerbated our food snobism and has made eating out anywhere else less appealing…thanks for that. Guaranteed you will not find this level of passion for the culinary arts within 200 miles. Restroom decor is biased…. ladies enjoy abstract photography too.
1st time experiencing thr bar, usually sit at table, but was all they had for burger week, burger, squid ink and ceaser were outstanding by far best, most consistent and creative restaurant in Michigan. And AJ was awesome at the bar really good asset to the place
