I went to this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. They only had one dark beer option, but they had a decent selection of other drinks. The customer service was okay, but I had to ask the bartender for service instead of it being offered. The staff seemed more focused on themselves than the customers. However, the tacos from the food truck outside were amazing, particularly the tacos from El Villasana. They had a variety of tacos and salsas that I will definitely be going back for. The staff inside even brought in pizza, so maybe they were tired of tacos. I didn't take any pictures, but there's always next time.
I enjoyed hanging out with friends at this restaurant. They have a great selection of IPA beers for fans, and the bartenders are friendly. Personally, I'm not a fan of IPAs and prefer lighter beers. I tried five different beers and found them to be decent, although I was hoping for a creamier taste. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because I wished they had more stout options. The atmosphere is cool, the women's restroom is nice, and there are seating options both inside and outside, as well as at the bar.
I'm not saying this restaurant is terrible, but I wasn't a fan of the unclean tables and loud music. It would be better suited for a younger crowd. The outdoor tacos were tasty and they had an impressive beer selection. However, the overcrowding and noisy atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy and have a conversation. I would rate the service a 4 and the atmosphere a 3.
This taproom in National City is fantastic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the person who created the artwork for the beer list is very talented. The beer selection was excellent and the bartender was friendly and laid-back. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5. I recommend trying some of their delicious beers.
There was no menu, no soda, the music was too loud even though there were no customers, and the bartender was a bit rude. It has potential, but it's not the right place for me.
Food outside is excellent, gentleman outside selling aguachiles mariscos/pozole is delicious then u can grab a beer inside
