My mother and I are in Glasgow for my 20th birthday. We heard the live music from our hotel and were immediately drawn towards it. Above the bar, there was a chalkboard wall with drink recommendations ranging from beer to frozen daiquiris. The place was packed with people dancing and drinking, having a grand ole’ time. Despite it being packed and hard to move, everyone was so friendly and made a path to the bar and the upstairs balcony. Where ever you are in MacSorleys you can find someone to talk to and enjoy the night. We plan on going back again.
Nice old pub. Prices are probably more expensive than other places. However be careful. They tried to charge us twice for food. The member of staff knew what he was doing because as soon as he was challenged he walked away so make sure you get a receipt or they will try and charge you twice. Don't think we'll be back.
Had a great night in McSorley's, in Glasgow for the night (Tuesday) on my tod through work, saw there was live music so popped in for a pint or 3, young lad playing was excellent (Keith Hayden) get along if you can.
A very nice pub with good , beer, and music. We throughly enjoyed the evening. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the brews and made some valuable recommendations. A good place to visit. Mike grrr from Ohio

Nice old style pub with good selection of beers and live music. We had really good lunch here. Great food options on the menu, food is tasty and service was very friendly. A fantastic venue with great atmosphere.
First visited this pub as a student in 1962 and it still has the same exciting vibe! Friendly staff with exquisite eye make up made choosing the next whisky to try even more interesting than usual.
Great pub, great old fashioned service. Great range of beers. Well worth a visit to an authentic Scottish pub. Although we didn’t eat their menu looked great. Check out their live music as well.
Popped in for a drink randomly when visiting with friends from Edinburgh and had a great time with the live bands and rock 'n roll!!! Great prices and atmosphere too : Definitely going back.
