I was at Madera's Steak Ribs yesterday afternoon. When I walked in, I found the restaurant a bit dark and had to adjust my eyesight. First, we were served water by a gentleman without greeting us. Then came our server. She greeted us with a smile but did not introduce herself. I told her that I had a voucher and she asked if we had been there before and if we knew how the voucher worked, l said no, it's our first time. She proceeded to tell us that the voucher included one appetizer, choice of meat with two sides, one drink each and one dessert for two. We ordered a beer that's paired with a slice of orange. My family came up to visit and have dinner with me today so I picked Maderas since we wanted steak. Greeted friendly enough when we came in, promptly seated, and then completely ignored afterwards. We were given waters as soon as we sat down but watched 2 different servers walk past us several times without asking if we wanted anything else to drink or even a simple hello we will be right with you. The icing was when another couple was sat next to us and instantly had a server taking their drink order. This being the third server we had seen ignore us in the 20 minutes we were there, we assumed that our business wasn’t wanted and went somewhere else. This happened today 6/23 from 5:41 to 6:0...
Wow! This restaurant was a steak house dream come true. Restaurant is beautiful. Wait time was less than 10 minutes. All the menu is delicious but their steaks and ribs are by far some of most delicious prepared plates I've eaten. Soft and tender and just an amazing taste! Definitely a must try, you will love it! Staff is very friendly, courteous and professional! We even had the pleasure to meet the owner Arturo Garcia! He is amazing and was walking and greeting customers and asking how our dinner was. It was delicious and we will be back again and again! D-LO recommended
Update Weve been coming to Maderas for years. The food is always amazing! Since our last visit, my wife has stopped eating red meat, so we thought her options were limited. We looked online and found that they have a secret vegan menu! You can order burnt ends fake meat and along with their wonderful peppercorn sauce, and she loved it! The vegan menu is surprisingly big, so be sute to check it out if youre not a meat eater! Loved the food, the service, and the owner, Art, came by and chatted us up for a bit! The food was pretty average but the portions are HUGE and are worth the price you paid for and the atmosphere is nice. Some of the waitresses are nice but yhe specific waitress we got just seemed to rush us and once we got our food ignored us but then another waitress checked on is and took our extra orders. Had a reservation had to wait 20 minutes beyond are time, sat in the bar to wait ordered drinks bartender was rude! She had a bad attitude with customers and her helper .. food was great are waitress was great for food. But whole start of our visit was terrible!!
