I broke into lunch. No one in the restaurant should have told me to go on. we got a paper menu. we said that we would stay and sit and give different menus. we ordered chicken corma and nan. as we. our food was not eaten. I asked how the menu said it was included. server megha told me that rice is only included with takeout. I was very surprised. she asked if I wanted to go, which she should have asked when I ordered. a few minutes later we received the rice. the taste and the heat of the corma was good and also the naan. This place doesn 't look like much when you walk in. Decors is not high-end, and it 's a bit dark and dingy. There 's a large video screen playing Indian movies on the back wall. I was there on a Friday night, and the place was a...bit busy, but not crazy. One detail that was meaningful: Lots of people of Indian ethnicity. The young lady who served me was enthusiastic and friendly. The real highlight, though, was the food. No nonsense here, no flash, no dining experience, just good food.
I'm not a fan of Indian cuisine, but my daughter and I were in toronto on a medical stay and she wanted butter huhn. we were looking for fast and found maezos. we had both butter huh, mine was less spicy and both were dishes. perfect I feel future orders of butter huhn from other restaurants will be pale in comparison. my daughter's 5/5.
great restaurant! fantastic, authentic Indian food. we have tried 7 different dishes and they were all absolutely delicious! our waitress, navneet, was very friendly and pleasant to explain every dish and provide a perfect service. would definitely return to to toronto at our next visit.
