We love this spot in Midtown, Sacramento. Its a true veggie paradise, as you can always get fresh local veggies with great pairings and sauces. I think it's nice when you can find a nice restaurant that has a variety of fresh, from the Earth food options. And to that point, mostly those options. It's a good break up from most restaurants who focus on meat and processed/fried options first.We loved the crudo, as it was a nice balance with the citrus and oil. A perfect spot for treating yourself to a delicious and fancy meal! It's a bit pricy but for a good reason. I had the Sauteed Jimmy Nardello peppers and the Home Made Pasta with Crispy Pork Belly and was happy with both. The peppers were sweet, had a good sear, and were topped with a flavorful (but not overpowering) garlic sauce. The Pasta had a lot going on, but had a good cohesive flavor. Maybe my one small criticism is that there's too few pork pieces for its flavor to be noticeable. This restaurant has a fantastic location on 16th Avenue in Sacramento, right across from a lively park. The atmosphere is charming, especially with the delightful outdoor seating area. We ordered the crab salad with grapefruit, which was fresh and tasty. The BLT was absolutely incredible—so good! It featured sun-dried tomatoes and a caper-mayonnaise spread, all served on delicious bread. That sandwich was a showstopper! I’ve loved this restaurant since I stumbled upon it when we moved to Sacramento in 2016. It’s where we take out-of-town family, celebrate small triumphs, or just the occasional #treatyourself day. Ultra fresh, local, seasonal foods, even the cocktails. The owners are so friendly and passionate and the staff are always great. Vegetarian and vegan options, and always something new on the menu, even for someone who’s being eating there for years. Kid-friendliness: They brought out a board book for my toddler when we realized we didn’t have any in our bag!

We continue to have delightful experiences here a result of the pleasant and happy staff paired with thoughtfully sourced and expertly crafted cuisine. Dining in this space you can feel that the team cares about the work they are doing and take pleasure in delivering excellent experiences to their guests. The service is warm and attentive, the cuisine is considered but not fussy warm vibes and good eats, what else could one ask for? Highlights: winter BLT, Beet Panzanella, Pork Belly, you can’t go wrong.
Incredible service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We managed to secure a last-minute reservation on a Friday night, and we were delighted that we did. The menu is small but comprised of fresh options, and everything from the appetizers to the main course was flawlessly prepared with high-quality ingredients. I visit Sacramento about four times a year, and I can't wait to return to this restaurant.
I ordered the burger, which was excellent, especially the pickles. My partner had the pork belly pasta, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also tried a couple of cocktails, and they were great as well. The patio area was spacious and shaded, featuring some nice tall tables. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return.
Best BLT of my life. I was in Sacramento switching between the Cali Zephyr and Coast Starlight trains five years ago and found this place by accident. I still think about the incredible sandwich I experienced.
