I was here on a Monday night with two of my colleagues as we were walking back to our hotel and stumbled upon this cozy looking restaurant. We ordered 3 dishes and they were all flavoursome and cooked perfectly - my beef salad had succulent medium rare cooked chunks of beef with fresh tasty greens in an awesome salad dressing (which could tone down a tad woth the fish sauce) and my colleague's pork belly dish was just as tasty. The red curry with chicken was one of the better ones I've tasted but could be improved with a more generous serve of chicken. We were on holidays and decided to check the place out. And I have never regretted going there! I had their seafood laksa, and it was super delicious! it wasn't too spicy, but i'm sure you can ask for extra chilli to be added. It was spicy enough for me and it was so creamy! you could taste that the soup base is actually coconut, and you could taste the ingredients separately and together as the whole. In a word - amazing! i could eat more and more of that. We also had red curry with rice, it was very flavoursome and tasty! The dishes are not super expensive as well.
I had just traveled over 1000 kms to Cairns. My accommodation was stuffed up, I was tired and hungry. Walking down the street most restaurants were closing. I came across this restaurant and looked at the menu. Why not I thought. I went inside and was met by excellent and friendly waitress. I explained I had allergies to seafood and if they could not use the fish sauces etc. nNo problems. The food was amazing. I came back again the next night. Highly recommend that you eat here as part of your time in Cairns. Thank you and see you next time I'm back.
What a wonderful dining experience! Friendly atmosphere, engaging staff and excellent food.The TGCC was delicious with exactly the right spice point, the Laksa was even better - flavoursome, extremely generous size and very creamy.Very well priced for what we got - two adults, three dishes and non alcoholic drinks for less than $50? Would have been happy to pay almost twice as much for that quality of food.Don't forget to specifically ask for coriander if you want it!

The food is nothing short of yuck! Ordered vego pad thai and spring rolls. Spring rolls were totally flavourless and had some weird faux meat substance in them which had the most grotesque texture. Pad thai had no vegetables (despite being the vegetarian option) and instead had wet soggy eggs bits all throughout. Blagh! Service however was great. The girl who waited on us was very friendly 2 stars are just for her - the food gets zero!
We decided to try this place for dinner on our 3rd night. The place is small and is located on the main road. The server was quite attentive and helpful. But the food was so-so . We didn't finish our order, primarily because the servings were big but also because it wasn't that good . Well, now we know.
As a Cairns local, I go in here quite often. I have yet to have one bad experience. The food is absolutely amazing, my favourite being spicy noodle soup, and the service is good too. The waitstaff are kind. A lot to choose from the menu and very affordable with generous servings.
We went back to this restaurant 3 times on our 5 night stay. The food was freshly prepared and excellent quality. Service was excellent and it was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Compliments to an excellent chef.

Not only very slow but the food is pretty ordinary too.They delivered each of us our meals separately and so slowly that the first person had finished well before the third and final member of our party had received their meal.It was appallingly bad.
