The staff was very kind and they greeted us and all said goodbye when we left which was very kind. The food was alright to me (only because some of it was a little sweet and as one customer that 's just my personal preference for my food to be a bit more savory) . I know most restaurants have their own recipes, and Korean restaurants may differ especially as well. The food was decent, but it didn’t provide the authentic Korean BBQ experience where you grill your own food; instead, it was similar to hibachi restaurants where someone else cooks for you. Unfortunately, our server overlooked us, resulting in some burnt dishes. The chef placed the brisket on the grill and left it unattended for 10 minutes, which made me step in to cook it myself. This wouldn’t have been a problem if they didn’t claim to handle all the cooking. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, so I can’t understand why we were neglected. This restaurant offers a different take on K-BBQ compared to the usual setup with private grills at each table, making it a great option nonetheless. The quality of the meat is excellent, complemented by a variety of appetizers and cocktails. The seating arrangement consists of large shared tables with a cook grilling for you, which comes with a lot of guidelines to follow. One downside is that you don't get to grill your food exactly how you want it, and the communal table means less privacy. The dining experience is also slower-paced. However, I can understand why some people might prefer this dining style. They do offer validated parking, but be aware that it's not completely free.
I absolutely love the food and overall experience at this restaurant! They offer a fantastic selection on their menu, making it a great place to visit with friends or for a date. The appetizers are delicious, and I particularly enjoy their cucumber salad! While the sushi rolls didn’t impress me, I didn't have high expectations for them. However, the steak was excellent! It is a bit on the pricey side, so I wouldn’t visit frequently, but it's a lovely option for an occasional treat. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a Korean-Japanese restaurant after our movie! They offered a tableside all-you-can-eat option, but we weren't feeling up to it after all the popcorn. The Sundubu Jjigae and ramen we ordered were both excellent. We also tried one specialty sushi roll, the quadruple crab roll baked, and it was delicious. We enjoyed a nice selection of three classic banchan: cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and pickled radish. We're excited to come back and try the Dolsot Bibimbap, Yookayjung, Bulgogi, and more!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and found the staff to be very friendly. Unfortunately, my overall experience fell short of my expectations. You're expected to eat each type of meat separately, and any leftovers will result in an additional charge. They also cook the food for you, which detracts from the authentic Korean BBQ experience. At one point, the cook walked away, and our food almost burned, so we had to step in ourselves. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience.
I had a fantastic experience! I visited on a Sunday night from around 7:30 until closing. I started off at the bar, where I enjoyed a few drinks while waiting for my friends to arrive. After that, we moved to the Korean BBQ section. I appreciated the separation they had for those only ordering sushi and other dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! Honestly, I don't understand how anyone has room for dessert here!
