Mainchateau - Tisch resevieren

Ich kann nicht genug Gutes über das Main Chateau sagen!! Das Personal ist absolut fantastisch, professionell, aufgeschlossen und freundlich, sehr einladend und äußerst gastfreundlich. Es zeigt sich, dass diese Familie liebt, was sie tut. Unser Zimmer war ebenfalls erstaunlich, das Bett war sehr bequem, die Bettwäsche war großartig, das Zimmer war gemütlich und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und köstlich. Da ich in Seligenstadt aufgewachsen bin, wusste ich, dass die Lage ebenfalls hervorragend ist. Beautiful location on the river side. Very comfortable beds and lovely service and breakfast. We stopped here for one night while driving to Austria. The hotel is located on the riverside and has convenient parking nearby. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome from the front desk. There is an Italian restaurant on the hotel site but this is not part of the hotel. We chose to have dinner in one of the restaurants that are in the historical city center which is a 2 minute walk. Ich habe dieses Hotel auf booking.com gefunden und für eine Nacht gebucht. Es liegt direkt am Main und ist ein wunderschönes altes Gebäude. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, sodass es lästig ist, schwere Taschen zwei Etagen hoch zu tragen. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich einfach und klein. Das Café im Erdgeschoss bietet ein unterdurchschnittliches Frühstück an, und mit 136 € für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück ist es für diesen Ort etwas überteuert. Ich würde hier definitiv nie wieder essen. Das Personal war jedoch freundlich und half uns mit den Taschen. Da unser Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk ohne Klimaanlage war, wurde es nachts zu heiß. Das Personal war nett und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Die Betten waren allerdings unbequem, mit einer sehr alten deformierten Matratze. Die Teppiche wurden wahrscheinlich seit Jahrzehnten nicht professionell gereinigt oder ersetzt. Der Geruch von Abwasser im Bad lässt einen nachdenklich zurück. Trotzdem ist die Lage perfekt am Fluss. Ich schreibe diese Bewertung in dem Wissen, dass ich nicht wiederkommen werde, und in der Hoffnung, dass die Eigentümer etwas Geld in die Aufwertung der Zimmer investieren, um anderen einen angenehmeren Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Nice hotel in beautiful selingenstadt. Its an old style so no airco available in your room. Beds are firm and the cushions are typical german, big and soft. Fold it twice and its ok ; Everything is nice and clean. Your breakfast has a wide variety of choices, from muesli to fried, boiled or scrambled eggs. The service is good, helpful and fast. If you want to selingenstadt this is a very nice hotel in the centre. You can park with your car in front of the hotel (public its paid parking but you get a hotel parkticket .

We just stayed for 1 night but we will be back! The room is nice, there is a bathtub and the bed is comfortable. Our large dog can also stay with us and it was to problem to bring him to the restaurant in the evening while we had dinner. : The dinner was very nice, local beers are offered and the home made Tiramisu was just the cherry on the top! : The park and riverside are also perfect for a nice walk in evening or morning.

Great hotel, scenically located along Main River. Comfortable and modern in old style surroundings. Only complaint is shower gel instead of individual hand soaps. Thick plastic bottles make it hard to squeeze anything out and you end up slapping the bottom like a ketchup bottle, sadly with the same results: either a dribble or a flood. Not very satisfactory.
