Delicious, decadent food, warm and cozy atmosphere, and lovely staff. Got appetizers to share with the table. Great servings! We ordered the stuffed sweet plantain, Sartén de Chorizo y Queso (my favorite. It came with warm corn tortillas) and super nachos. Get the Sartén. You can’t go wrong.
The food was good the drinks were good. They make them a but strong here and the mojito was more mint then drink. Not a lot of variety on the menu. It's just a lot of nachos, tacos and quesadillas. There's other things but not much.
I cannot say enough good things about Maizal! Their food is absolutely delicious every single time we go (and we go often). Their staff is always warm and welcoming. They truly make us feel at home.

Our go to place. Drinks are always so good and food is delicious. They make the best guacamole. Shrimp tacos are my favorite. Small cozy restaurant with outside patio.
The food was really good and so was the atmosphere. I like this little spot. They have a nice outdoor scenery too. Everything was very flavorful and well cooked.
Never disappoints. Great food, great atmosphere, and service. Our go to for authentic Mexican cuisine. In my opinion best on Staten Island.
