Dropped by this new area and since mum and I missed lunch we decided to take the whole family here for dinner. Excited by the menu, we ordered 3 entrees, 3 sushi dishes, 3 main dinners, and 1 kids meal. The waiter repeated our order and soon our meals started arriving (7:15). Entrees, kids meal, sushi, and 2 main meals. The table next to us who ordered way after we did started getting their meals. When asked about the final main, the waiter went back inside to check up and said 2 minutes. We waited longer and my sister decided to go inside and ask again. STILL not ready. is denied here half often, but something has changed definitiw. 1. the spinne temaki roll with tobiko when it came out, the temaki rolle had hardly tobiko (probably around 15 20 tobiko throughout the roll. 2. tempura udon the menu said that there was nori, wakame and snowpea (and the picture showed about 1/3 of the dish filled with wakame . when it was served there was a hesitant small amount of nori, and both the wakame and the snowpea were missing. the flurpersonal didn't let me get into the load. I was asked to keep it outside of the load, so I folded my baby car and held it outside, leaned against the transparent doors until I finished my meal with my children. that was last week. I don't understand why she asked me to. I enjoyed every experience I had in makimoto, kellyville. in the past I bought the seetang udon, bark udon and various sushi rolls that were all tasty and I bought several places. the pricing is fair considering that the pure fresh of the foods I receive, I will never get another sushi roll, just like the ones I got here. it is also not absolutely casual escaping and eating that they receive is high quality, as tokio fans in norwest high priced, but high quality (although Tokyo fans are much more expensive than makimoto! I will come back and recommend it to everyone
Had soft shell crab salad, seafood udon and katsu combo. Had one word for this place. Overpriced. I was amazed at how small the portion was- literally had 3-4 pieces of crab cut up in the salad, the plates and bowl were small, katsu combo however was a decent size. The quality of the food wasn't great, nothing special really. The noodles in the udon was a disappointment, came out overcooked : I don't intend on going back.
Been here a couple of times now with a big group and a small group and I have to say it is a pleasant surprise, it's a small shop but the sashimi is fresh and they do a good tempura! The batter is not too thick as some other places do it. The food is very reasonably priced and they do lunch specials too. Glad to have found another local sushi and sashimi place!

They do have Chicken Katsu Curry but they only serve it as a lunch time meal? That's very disappointing. The service is very good and not long to wait for food.
