I really felt like eating Indian and this place was open (in contrast to many others) and accessible to foot. it is a fine restaurant and most people were dressed a bit. I had forgotten to do this, but certainly was not the most insecure person there I had an online booking with a note with vegan, and this was recognized by the workers who welcomed us at the door. we have looked at the online menu and ordered samosas and cauliflower glue for entrees, as well as the herbal curry and vegan butter huhn, again stressed vegan. our escaped came up with a yogurt-based diving sauce that was not trusting and made me an even more annoying vegan, where every time food should be delivered to the table,...
The food is undoubtedly exquisite. The ambience is there. Being there in a busy Sunday night is quite a pleasant experience, in theory.
Unfortunately, the tables and chairs are badly arranged. It is very cramped with a near full house. The service is okay. The maitre d seems competent, but she is not exactly warm and welcoming, in fact, borderline rude. The waiting staff are okay but not very attentive (probably suffer from understaffed).
Just minutes after finishing dessert, you are served with the bill without asking the waiting staff for it, which makes you feel terrible, "we have enough of you, now give us the money and get lost". Also, very disappointing that chicken biryani is only...
this place was beautiful. the waiter who served us was so helpful, they have a whole vegan menu that was so friken good, the pinot noir was vegan, I checked it on barnivore and the after dinner mint were also vegan that he came and told me after he saw that I did not eat it. just a really good experience
we have dinner on a Friday night that was packed, but the service still good. eating was very delicious, I would definitely recommend this place. it has a vegetarian section on the menu, not labeled which are vegan, but it has labeled dairy and gluten with the dressed on the menu.

it was the best indian restaurant i have ever been to, so delicious! cheesa naan with lamb kurma was my favourite. the customer service was a bit slow and thet took my friend's order wrong but their manager came to us and apologied for the mistake. overal experience was very good
I'll never forget this place as this was my first time eating at an Indian place. I was skeptical at first but thank God my friends took me here. I would travel all the way from the west to this place!

Malabar has a separate vegan menu with a good choice of dishes. I particularly love their dosa (thin pancakes filled with potatoes onions and spices) and recommend going if only for these. Bookings recommended.
Amazing food, have walked past so many times and finally decided to go, the service was excellent, offered excellent advice, constantly checking to see if we were okay, modest price will be back

very pleasant to sit. the butter chicken is okay, a little sweet. the mixed vegetables are beautiful.
finally a good place that serves almost authentic Indian food! a bit expensive, but worth the money!
