Went for the first time and was impressed with the quality of the fish and chips. Yes cod .Flaky White chunks of freshly cooked COD in a crisp batter. (not greasy We have been back and yes it was not a one off. Consistent quality. You can ring your order in for collection as it is cooked fresh. No web site but they have a face book page for the telephone number. Prices have not been updated on the FB page . Cod and Chips £6.20 about the say as the competition. This place is Fish and Chips not kebabs , pizzas and unknown white fish like some. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.
Went here after reading the reviews its a bit out the way but it was a windy night so being able to sit in was a bonus. The fish and chips are some of the best ever tasted especially the fish it was exceptional. I had the lite bite (smaller fish, smaller chips) and I was stuffed. Was delicious and the staff proper north east friendliness highly recommend
I recently discovered this newly opened chippy and it is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and the store itself is lovely, with options for dining in or taking away. I always order the skinny fish and chips and they never disappoint. I will definitely be returning here regularly.
I recently dined in at this fish and chip shop and found it to be clean and pleasant. I always come here when I want to grab some chips to go. I ordered fish and chips at this restaurant and it was amazing. The chips were the best I've ever had - soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The fish was also delicious and the staff were friendly. Overall, everything was fantastic.
