This is a place that's is deeply ingrained in my childhood memories. It was only a stones throw away from the house I grew up in until college. It was always our family's tradition to come here once a week on Friday or on Sundays. We would get a large round pizza with pepperoni, cheesy bread, mozzarella sticks with their meaty marinara dip sauce and a large salad. This was our comfort food for the family and was our time to really get connected over pizzas and oodles of carby and cheesy foods. Can't thing of anything else to help bring a family closer than pizza, cheese bread and cheese sticks, right? This was how we spent family time. Best place ever! We had a party next door at the Cabbage Patch Saloon and Amy from Mama Rosa's brought over the pizza, bread,salad, wings and set everything up so nice for our guests. Everything was delicious and fresh out of the oven. Amy also came back to box up the leftovers for us and even boxed up our cake and made individual to go boxes for the grandparents. Sam was also very helpful when I was placing the order the day before. I love this place!
In 2010, after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I reached out to them one night when I returned home from the hospital and had no food. I asked if they could help me out with a meal on credit, and because they remembered me, they generously provided me with two dinners at no charge. I will always be grateful for their kindness. Thank you so much! I've tried everything on the menu, and everything is fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
Traveled to dine here. There is no inside dining. Carry out only. We called to confirm this did not only happen on Sundays. No idea as to when inside dining will begin? Great family owned business. My mom always talked about coming here as a child so I was super excited to finally try it! The food is impeccable I mean even the salad is through the roof! The customer service is great too, the owner is so kind. Definitely a community staple.
Their Detroit-style pizza is the best we've ever had. We're so glad to have recently discovered this local gem. We've been ordering from them weekly since we found it a few months ago, and the food is consistently outstanding.
I travel to Detroit every few months and always make sure to stop by at least once. Great value, consistent and of course tasty. There's no dine in option currently due to short staffing.
