I've visited Mama Soup for lunch multiple times, and I still find myself craving their dishes. Out of all the restaurants in Mineola that I've tried, this one is my favorite. I always go for the tomato soup and the hot chicken sandwich, and I've never felt the urge to try anything else because these two dishes are so satisfying. I've heard that some items may lack flavor, but I can't comment on that since I always stick to my favorites.

If you're in search of a great soup, this restaurant is the place to go. I sampled the chicken pot pie soup along with a grilled cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese was quite thin, not melted sufficiently, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. It definitely needs an upgrade; it felt like something a child could have made. On the other hand, the chicken pot pie soup was hearty, packed with chicken and vegetables, and perfectly seasoned. It also came with a delicious biscuit. I'm looking forward to returning to try other soups and perhaps a standout sandwich.
The soups are decent; they have a nice appearance but lack flavor. The service leaves much to be desired, though—I waited 20 minutes after ordering a soup and half a sandwich, only to receive the wrong sandwich. I had ordered egg salad on whole wheat, but instead, I got it on focaccia, complete with lettuce and tomato. It's hard to believe they could mess up something so simple! Even after three years, the kitchen service is still slow. However, I must mention that the quality of food has improved. With more regular staff members, things seem to be getting better overall.
again we ordered breakfast from Mama Soup and they are ALWAYS on point, food is cooked to order fresh, hot delicious. the people are always friendly and helpful, and you get exactly what you ask. If you order the delivery regularly, you know that there are some places that send what they have instead of what you have ordered without letting you know before. this is not the case with mum soup, they are professional and friendly and we all love their food <3 <3 <3

Mama Soup offers a delightful soup buffet with around 12 different varieties. I sampled the veggie chili, and while the broth was quite flavorful, I wasn't a fan of some of the vegetables, such as peppers, celery, and carrots. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the New England clam chowder, which had a pleasantly smoky flavor, and the seafood bisque was also very tasty. I'm looking forward to returning to try all the options throughout the fall and winter.
The food at this restaurant is decent, but the prices are excessively high. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak on a roll and a Snapple iced tea for $15, when I could have bought a pre-made sandwich at Stop & Shop for only $6. Additionally, their quart of clam chowder costs $15, but I can get a can of Progresso clam chowder for just $2.39, and it tastes just as good. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.
My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, and we simply can't get enough of it. You can really tell that all the food is freshly prepared; it's some of the best around. The entire staff treats you like family. Thank you all so much!
The food at this restaurant is truly outstanding! I highly recommend it. My only wish is that they were open on weekends. I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5.

I ordered turkey bacon and two slices of wheat toast, and my total was $7.50. The bacon was burnt, and I found this place to be overpriced. I won't be returning.
