I ordered an antipasto salad for pickup tonight and ended up throwing away about 95% of it. The salad was prepared incorrectly—the meats were rubbery, flavorless, and tasted like they had been boiled. The eggplant was breaded but soggy, almost like noodles, so I discarded that too since I wasn’t even sure what it was until I checked the menu again. There were no onions, leaving me with just wilted lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. I ended up tossing the whole thing and went somewhere else to eat.
Additionally, when I called to place my order, I asked for a can of soda. The man at the register was rude and accused me of trying to take it without paying after I had already paid and went...
At Mama Teresa's Italian Pizza, the food always tastes fresh, is beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. However, it's quite disappointing to see that they've been steadily reducing portion sizes while significantly raising prices. The menu now offers less sauce and meat, especially for takeout orders, and the 2 oz sauce containers are no longer filled to the brim. It's frustrating to experience smaller portions alongside higher costs.
Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face!! Love that they know me and are already getting my food when I walk in. And the food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!!!!! Been eating here since I was a kid. Best memory is that during hurricane Gloria they were the only ones open... feeding the whole neighborhood with their pizza, in the dark.
Everyone at the party has decided that Mama Theresa’s is the new catering place, everything we ordered was great everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food.The catering was exceptional, from the eggplant florentine, chicken marsala , the meatballs , they just wouldn’t get enough.The following day they wanted all the leftovers.

We really enjoyed our pizza! We ordered a bacon pizza, a mashed potato pizza, and a half broccoli, half cheese pizza. My favorite pizza place is Odie's in Hamden, but Mama T's is a great alternative.
I was in the area and got some takeout. Pizza was awesome pasta was excellent. Super tasty food. Reminds me of the old-school Italian places Yum check it out.
