Ate in, the fazool/appetizers/bread started out pretty good. Got cheese sticks and bruschetta. Heavy, but good. Then we got several gnats/flies, made for an utterly awful experience throughout, constantly swatting. Bathrooms were even worse. Probably don't have people cleaning often enough. Or some other problem, idk. My entree (sausage rigatoni) was good, but my brothers tasted like they drenched it in lemon. It wasn't subtle, its like they pan fried his chicken in lemonade mix. House merlot was ok, went down easy. Music choice was odd (playing 2020's pop at an Italian spot) but that's probably because high schoolers hang out here from the building nextdoor. Server was overall accommodating...
There appeared to only be one waitress working the entire restaurant. She was doing her very best but not getting much help. We waited 15 minutes for drinks and bread. One of the two bus boys or the two hostesses could have brought them to our table, but they left it all to the waitress. My youngest really liked the pizza, my meat ravioli was good, and my husband enjoyed his chicken. I don't think I would go back and wait that long to be served again. Parking: Most of the parking is on the side of the building. There are a few spots in the front.
The staff is awesome! Since day one they have become our go to for Italian cuisine. If you want to go home and fall asleep good, come here for the best comfort food around. My kids seem to think that an area that we say at, looks like a funeral home so it's not eye appealing in some spots. Needs some to remodeling. Baked clams, linguini in red clam sauce, pizza and breaded cod is ?! The best around this area. I'll update with photos at some point.
Dont get the chicken Alfredo. Had no flavor. Which is hard to believe. Because even rogue got flavor lol.Even the chicken had no flavor. I had stuff shells pretty good..we ask for bread .And only got 2 pieces.And i guess you have to dress up..Because they were really pushing to us to be seated by the bar.....I gues what we had on not good enough for there dinning area..lol..bake clams very good ....Other then that. ok, place to go . Food has always been worth the trip, more than we could ever finish there! They need to upgrade the interior, booth cushions worn out long ago. Some gatherings make for a very loud atmosphere. I would suggest more separation to accompany those needing a more quiet space.
Food was not prepared correctly and was over cooked. I did get it replaced, but by then I was not hungry and My guess had already ate their food. Took it to go. The flavor was not Authentic Italian cuisine. Was not impressed with Your Restaurant at All.
Ordered this for the first time last night, we did the Vodka Pasta and a Sausage Pizza and oh my god.. it was delicious. The bread they give with the pasta was amazing, all tasted homemade. Will definitely order/go here again!
