It was wonderful having gluten free fish and chips available even though it was only days a week, but now nothing. Understandable as they were busy during covid but I rang to see if they were going to serve gluten free again now we're...in zone but no, SO disappointed as there isn't much choice around here, Toninos pizza maybe the best for gluten free I have found.
New restrictions says, you are not allowed to go inside the shop and need to be served outside, but there were a lot of people inside, and we thought we weren't safe there, so we just went away... Not very safe there the food is...great obviously, but I don't think I could go back there if they break the rules.. I wouldn't catch the virus for a portion of chips..
Visited here several times ,first time I asked if the fish was boneless and assured it was first few visits fish was top notch and no bones but on recent visits including today I ordered two pieces of fish in breadcrumbs and both pieces contained bones so disappointed as the fish ain’t exactly cheap these days
Staff were abrupt and quite frankly rude, changed my order in store and the lass just completely blanked me! I thought it would have been decent but the chips were stale And also had a funny taste, extremely over priced for the food to be...disgusting won’t be back and definitely won’t not recommend to anyone
Best special haddock fish suppers ever. We've tried a few! Delicious fresh fish. Panko crumb perfect. Excellent chips. Really good service. Generous portions. Good prices. You can't go wrong.
Regular customers here always absolutely superb fish and chips (we get panko) and the pizza is brilliant as well, as authentic as you’d hope for given its ran by a proper Italian !
Food was nice but pure snide with the gravy. Gravy is such an inexpensive thing to make its bewildering why they're so snide with it. for an extra cup of gravy is ludicrous.
Busy but friendly chip shop. Had the haddock and chips which were excellent. Nice touch that they put a slice of lemon and tartar sauce in with the fish. Recommended!
Had the puccia! 10/10 and they could feed 2 easily...or one if your greedy like me. Most authentic Italian thing I've eaten in Scotland, including fancy restaurants.
