As Pizzas go everyone knows I 'm UBER fussy. You can either get a terrific looking pizza and it tastes like carboard or get a simple one that also tastes like...you guessed it, cardboard. People, its all about the sauce (the base) than can make or...break a good Pizza. I think these guys have done it superbly. Mammas is right in Darlinghurst NSW and the Pizzas are all wood fired. How do I know this? Because the woodfire pizza oven sticks out like Ayers Rock. Yes the Pizzas are simple but they ARE delicious(molto delizioso).The restaurant itself is situated at the top of William street and once you sit down you get a terrific view of the Cola sign, lights of the Cross etc. all from your table...
they have probably already dozens of paints passed or drove past this place without recognizing what it is. connects the rustic balcony attracts a hidden gem with a great relaxed atmosphere, more fantastic view of the city and delicious pizza. my favorite is the bianca, with thin potatoes...slices above. in the midst of the incitement of terrible American style chain restaurants that now colonize the cross and set up the dives to serve drunken people who have managed to survive the concluded laws, this place is a local gem. the address is misleading, the door is actually on william st, only on the hill of darlinghurst road.
Went with my boyfriend for dinner. We had never been before so decided to try a mix of things. I got the penne chicken pasta. It was really nice but quite salty. I ate 3/4 of it and enjoyed it but wouldn’t order it again....My boyfriend got the surf and turf. He said the prawns and squid were delicious and enjoyed the steak. But the meat feast pizza we got was the star of the show. It was hands down the nicest pizza I’ve had in Sydney. And they do delivery so I will definitely be ordering my take away pizzas from here from now on!
every Sunday for lunch I met friends for 3 years and had my birthday parties at mammas woodfire pizzas, who followed three friends who made the same a true certificate for the first-class family business, customer service and the mammas pizzas. I. often in the weekdays for cups of their quality brand coffee and made to house bush trains while enjoying a view of the sydney harbour bridge.

Sitting near top of the William St hill beside Kings Cross, with afternoon sun streaming in the north facing verandah, sharing a bottle of red wine and a pizza, lifestyle was perfect in an ideal location. Friendly and pleasant staff most helpful. Attentive, but never...annoying. Limited menu but pizzas hit the spot nicely. Excellent casual venue for drinking and/or dining.
I love coming to my favorite pizza place. her super friendly staff with wonderful views of her beautiful balcony/terrace makes my perfect plan for a girl night. love their wood-fire pizza. her bianca pizza will never disappoint her! thank you for always looking after us...team!
Not a very big fan of pizza, but I always go back to this place whenever I’m craving one. Their pizza has the right amount of sauce and toppings, and then the crust is not too thick or thin. Also, their staff are all friendly,...and the service is excellent.
delicious carbonara and very friendly staff. that's worth it! the environment is so beautiful. they also have a pizza and bier deal for $20. also for groups and family.

Simply the best pizza in town. Made from scratch so you can expect the freshest ingredients and the staff are really accommodating. Will definitely go back.
