Man Chun Hong is a well-respected and popular destination for Chinese cuisine, celebrated for its delicious food, excellent noodles, and generous portions. The sheer size of the servings makes it a challenge to fully explore the extensive menu options. They offer both an American Chinese/Korean Chinese menu and an authentic Chinese menu. Recently, I took my family there, not only to introduce them to the restaurant but also to delve deeper into its culinary offerings. We ordered the mussels from the American menu and a lamb dish from the Chef's Specials, which was richly flavored with coriander and cumin.
People that live near this restaurant should feel lucky. My meal here was so delicious. The fried dumplings were substantial and the spicy jja jang myun was rich with black bean paste and a nice hit of spice bit not overwhelming by any means. The bok choy in garlic sauce was delicious as well and easy to eat as they broke down the heads rather than serving the whole. The General Tso's was so insanely good. On top of that, the staff was super nice, friendly and efficient.
Man Chun Hong is a restaurant I’ve wanted to try since 2006. I'm not a huge fan of kimchi, and I often find that Korean restaurants in the area are overshadowed by other cuisines. However, this past Sunday morning, we decided to drive to Buford Highway, and I looked up some Yelp reviews along the way. Many people were intrigued by the menu, noting that the chef is Chinese but grew up in Korea, which has resulted in some unique Korean dishes.
Absolutely fantastic Chinese cuisine! Every time we drive down Buford Highway, we make it a point to stop at Man Chun Hong. As a Caucasian, I find the food to be incredibly authentic. The service is excellent, and the dishes are even more impressive. We usually start with Bak Choi and then choose a dish, which always tastes wonderful, even if I'm not quite sure what it is. Best Chinese Korean restaurant that also serves Szechuan as well. Modern dining atmosphere, good wine selection and presentation of food served in stylish dinnerware PLUS exceptionally tasty and delicious dishes prepared by owner/chef himself and very courteous and attentive wait staff make this restaurant a very HIGHLY RECOMMEND establishment. P.S. Food was served quickly and and prices were reasonable!
Very nice and modern venue. It was so clean and well maintained. Our server was very sweet. The fried squid was amazing. Fried rice was not bad. Just lacked some flavor for my taste. Will definitely be back to try more items on their menu.
Great place to get spicy and tasty Chinese food. The service is friendly and attentive. Everything was really good with exception of the seafood noodles. I recommend coming here if you want that good spice that makes so sweat while eating.
Not the best twice cooked pork I had but the mapo tofu, imperial chicken, Szechuan pork, and egg drop soup were really good. Waiter was a cool guy as well. You get fortune cookies AND yakult at the end which is awesome. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
