Wonderful! Authentic and reminiscent of Beirut. The staff was kind and helpful with the menu, and the food was exceptional. I got the zaatar with cheese, which was incredible (I’ve been looking for this ever since 2012 when I had it in Beirut), and then got a bunch on zaatar and lahem bashin to put in my freezer. They freeze incredibly well, and it’s easy to pop them in the oven to warm them up. I also tried their kanefe (sweet cheese dessert), which was so good. I will be returning!
I had a disappointing experience at this place. First, the tea was cold when it arrived, and it came after the main dishes. Second, the falafel was undercooked. To top it off, they tried to charge me for something I didn’t even order. Overall, not a good experience. Moreover, the manager, who is the owner of the place, was present and didn 't address these issues. It’s not just a problem with the staff; the owner should have ensured a better experience.
