TLDR: Small restaurant offering great Peruvian food in Alhambra.Run to Mancora to check out their wonderful selection of Peruvian eats! It's been a while since I had Peruvian food, so I was excited to check this place out. We came in for lunch on a weekday, and they were fairly busy. The person I came with is Peruvian, so this is a joint review! For the drinks, we got Chica Morada, which offers a unique grape-like, but not overly sweet flavor. We highly recommend this drink if you're looking to try something authentic. For the main dishes, we split the Ceviche and Loma Soltado. Wow! We loved the explosion of flavors both offered. The former was tangy and filled with different raw seafood bite...

Stopped by today to celebrate my nieces birthday as this is one of her favorite restaurants. Personally this was my first visit and I enjoyed it. The food was good and the service was excellent. There was only one person working the tables (it is a small restaurant) and he did a great job making sure we were taken care of.I can't recall all the dishes that everyone in my party ordered but I had the tallarines verdes con bistec which are green noodles with a Peruvian pesto sauce and a steak. My wife ordered the lomo saltado which is stir fry marinated strips of beef steak with onions, tomatoes, french fries and a side of white rice. For drinks the table ordered Inca Cola.I'll have to come back t...

I’m thrilled to have found a fantastic Peruvian restaurant in Alhambra, located on Main Street between Atlantic and Garfield. The portions are quite generous, and I particularly enjoyed the spaghetti with chicken, which I would definitely order again. The dish features a tomato-based sauce, but it’s important to note that it’s not Italian. My friend loved the appetizer platter, which included roasted chicken, tomatoes, and beef heart. We also tried the fried rice, but it was a bit on the dry and bland side. Just a tip: you can customize most dishes with beef, chicken, or shrimp, even if that’s not specified on the menu.

Nice little hole in the wall with good food, I tried the Loma soltado and it was good, I have had better, but I also had worse) On Fridays they have Loma Soltado trio, where instead of white rice you get fried rice, and you get chicken and shrimpalong with the beef. Their green sauce was good, had the right amount of kick It has its own parking, and good number of seatsinside and out. If you are in the neighborhood craving Peruvian food, check them out. I don't think i I would go back here, but I'll recommend to others to try if they are looking for Peruvian joint. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The establishment is clean and welcoming, however the music was way too loud making it difficult to carry a conversation. We ordered a couple of the most popular traditional Peruvian plates and honestly they fell short of being just average. If you know Peruvian food then you'll know what sazón to expect. After all Peruvian food is the best cuisine in the world! This was definitely a one done.

The yuca fries were outstanding, but the entree was lacking in flavor. It might have been due to the lower salt content compared to what I'm used to. The atmosphere was welcoming and created a cozy vibe reminiscent of a home-cooked meal, but the overall taste didn’t quite hit the mark. I can't remember the details perfectly, but I believe the meat could have used more seasoning. Food: 4/5

Mancora Peruvian Cuisine offers very good and flavorful dishes. While the service could improve, it was satisfactory overall. I'm still giving a positive rating because the food was enjoyed by everyone in our group. As for parking, there's a small shared lot, but there's also a larger lot in the back that resembles a wide alley, which is helpful. Don’t forget to check out their menu!

Superb Peruvian food at Pasadena. Never seen one as good since I left Florida. Also has its own parking lot. Also, portion is very generous even more than what it appeared on menu photo. Another plus is it is right next to 85 C bakery and so you can grabsome desserts as well. Would definitely visit again and please myself with fully filled belly. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Been coming here for a bit. Cute lil restaurant tucked in a small lot. Great professional service, always kind. The ceviche is unique, savory and tasty. Don't be fooled by the title, the bistec a lo pobre; it's not poor in taste or quantity. Must try it.
