We've visited many times over the last few years. And it's getting worse each time. Today was probably the last visit. We ordered the lamb shish (Grilled lamb pieces) and pilic shish (Grilled chicken breast). Ezme dip and chips with the lamb and chicken rather than the rice side salad that normally comes with it. Why? Because the salad is always warm, because of how they pack it. And the rice is never great like microwave packet rice. Well the chips weren't a better alternative. Nice and chunky, but no taste and inside was powdery. Not fluffy. The chicken was dry and tasted very bland. The lamb was AWFUL. Incredibly tough I needed a steak knife. My group of 5 went to celebrate a birthday and we were all left feeling disappointed. The service was slow despite the restaurant not being busy. The mixed hot Meze was overcooked and it was hard to distinguish the vegetables in the slimy, black mixture. The breaded mushrooms were served cold and all the other starters were barely warm. We waited a long time for our main course, which was also served barely warm. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we won't be returning.
I recently moved to the neighborhood and decided to try this restaurant tonight simply because it was close to my home. To my surprise, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken kebab, and I was impressed with the perfect seasoning and the juicy, tender chicken. The rice also reminded me of my grandmother's cooking, and I enjoyed it even without the meat. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Wonderful little restaurant in our town. Felt very homely and the staff were very helpful, friendly, fast and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The food wow is all I can say! It was delicious and definitely worth the trip if you’re ever in the area or you are local to Syston. We will definitely be repeat customers for sure.

eating is always beautiful and the staff is great. we go at least once or twice a year and will continue to return. Just note that the seating area in the upper floor has a very steep staircase, so if they have any mobility problems, as for the seating areas in the ground floor.
Lovely meal (takeout) as usual. Staff always pleasant and service quick. Best to collect as delivery is usually quite a while due to their popularity, but worth it!
The food and service was greet and I had a great time over there with the authentic Turkish music that plays on the background.
