my man, me and our two children went to the door of mangez moi for coffee and eat. we had a bug with us, but we'll turn him off. out there was a freer table, so we went. a man who works there stopped us and told us rudely that they only serve food and that we would better go somewhere else. he said he couldn't make a cafe or drink for the kids. He never asked if we wanted to eat. we turned away because we had a buggy, although there was clearly enough space out there. we were very disappointed to be treated. it is the first time in our week here in île de ré that we felt unwilling somewhere. it doesn't cost to be nice, they avoid costing everyone if they have children.
the unstable reception of the owners is a good indicator of the general atmosphere prevailing in this establishment: no sense of hospitality or even of trade. owners are certainly very tired in this late summer and do not support people and especially children. They prefer to shout at a 2-year-old child, and make him cry, than to focus on their restorative profession. a very exaggerated and very inappropriate response for a child's gesture that only threw two sheets of paper on the ground.Breef if you want to have a quiet lunch in a relaxed atmosphere pass your way because this place will leave you a bitter taste. To avoid absolutely!
I have had the pleasure and good fortune to experience the private dining offered by the team at Mangez-Moi and all I can say is... Wow. You have to have a minimum of 8 people and I'm not even sure they do it anymore, but...this is fine-dining at it's very best. They are incredible chefs here, with the most attention to detail, to the pleasurable experience of their guests, a real treat. Aside from the private dining, their takeaway meals are really worth a try. From the starters to the main courses, to the very special desserts and cookies, you absolutely must give this place a try.
For my friends 50th birthday we went to very nice little town of Au Bois Plage were we found this small place in the town centre,who among other things offered deluxe picnics which was perfect for our needs.You can choose what you want from the...wide range of products in the store. The weather was great so we took the picnic to the beach were we enjoyed the scrumptious home made produce from the delicious pates to rustic salads and the fantastic desserts. Where should I start? first the owner knows the baked. they have a great choice to choose home made deserts. they also serve amazing crab sandwiches and so much more to choose. the owner is very friendly and speaks well English.... Allows them to feel like home! they are open until 18:00 and please make sure they pass and try their delicious homemade dishes!
These two chefs prepare some of the tastiest dishes you can find if you dont want the hassle of shopping preparing and cleaning up you should try some of their freshly prepared food they have a suttle use of herbs and spices that gives you...a pleasant suptisr They will prepare food for your paries and your guests will not be disappointed
order a lunch for about 15 people, very good reception and advice. verrines, fish and vegetable tatins, delicious fruit dessert. impeccable service, to recover in a few and minutes and to heat briefly in the oven. I recommend.
