Food was good, however service was very bad to the least! Guy takes my order and somehow completely forgets to put part of the order in. Wondering whats wrong with my order as my son finished the 2nd of two sandwiches he ordered, I ask the same guy if there is something special about my order since it was taking so long. He said no there shouldn't be and asks me who took my order. I finally get my sandwich and was offered something for free. I said no thanks, but I foolishly decided to order 2 bagels that they were out of. The same guy says they would take about 15-20 mins. to make. I know COVID was a problem for everyone, especially the food industry. But this place went downhill. My wife always grabs me an Asian bagel when she's here because she knows that's my favorite. The one I pulled out this morning was a joke. It was well undercooked. It was 2/3 it is normal size (be generous here) and it had 5 finger size impressions on the bottom. Not sure if that was not baked enough, but it was pathetic enough to make this review. And it's not the first time. I'd have been embarrassed to put that in a customer's pocket. Usually you go to Ferry Rd to Manhattan, which is consistently good. Stops in the Warrington location and won't make this mistake again. Unclear and slow ordering process. Woman sitting on the table was said to be fifteen minutes after the order from their choice. I ordered a double toasted everything with cream cheese. What they delivered was completely intact, and the taste of the bagel was strange. Never again.
Staff does their best to please customers. If something is wrong with your order you can kindly tell them and they will fix you up in no time. It does get really busy at times therefore, if you are in a rush it is best that you call in your order. The quality of the food is of the best ingredients/brands and made fresh to order. I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant, but I find it frustrating that they turn off the grill 30 minutes before closing time. It seems that the staff is reluctant to stay even a minute longer than necessary to clean up at the end of the day. This laziness has prompted me to look for my bagels elsewhere.
I am a loyal customer of Manhattan bagel for over 15 years and been to many of their locations and this is the only location that does not serve a side of pickle and chips with nova lox bagel. I almost always get a nova lox bagel and at least a pickle on the side would have been nice.
Edit (5/5/22): I have updated my rating from 2 to 4 stars. The last few visits have shown significant improvements. I am leaving my original comments because something did go wrong, but I want to acknowledge the positive changes that have been made.
Delicious whitefish ! The garlic bagel was crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh tomato topped it off. This experience kept us happy all day!! We loved this so much we each took another one home for later. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Hands down this location is the best. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. I live in Doylestown and take the ride here because the service cannot be beaten!
